An agreement has been reached with Alliance Healthcare France, part of US-based Cencora, to construct a 25,000 sq m extension to its existing building at Mountpark Orléans in Meung-sur-Loire for its Alloga Business Unit.
Acting as project manager for the extension, Mountpark has commenced work onsite with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2025. The expanded property will enable Alliance Healthcare France, the leading pharmaceutical pre-wholesaler in France, to meet anticipated business growth and optimise its logistics operations.
Reflecting the occupier’s commitment to a healthier future, the extension is targeting BREEAM ‘Very Good’ and BiodiverCity certification with photovoltaic roof panels generating on-site renewable energy.
“We are proud of the trust placed in us by J.P. Morgan and Alliance Healthcare France to continue our excellent working relationship,” commented Nicholas Jordan, Mountpark’s Director of Development for France. “This extension will provide Alliance Healthcare France and Alloga with a modern, high-performance logistics platform to meet the needs of its customers.”
Situated close to the A10 motorway, a major route linking Paris to Bordeaux, Mountpark Orléans benefits from optimal connections to the main French consumer centres. The park, located in the Synergie Val de Loire business district, totals 150,000 square metres and comprises two logistics properties. The first is leased to M2Log which handles logistics for French motoring group Mobivia, the second to Alliance Healthcare France.
Institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives acquired Mountpark Orléans on a VEFA (forward funding) basis in March 2021.
Mountpark is also progressing its latest French development Mountpark Chartres. This state-of-the-art development comprises three logistics properties totalling 271,245 sq m located in Illiers-Combray and Blandainville. Read more about Mountpark Chartres.
