Mountpark Logistics, a leading developer of industrial and logistics property, has concluded a lease agreement with DB Schenker for 133,806 sq ft at Mountpark Baldonnell, Dublin.

The building, which logistics giant DB Schenker will use to service one of its major global clients, has been designed to meet the company’s specific operational requirements and construction is due to complete in May 2022.

With this letting, all five buildings at Mountpark Baldonnell, which total 1,199,264 sq ft have been let prior to practical completion. Three facilities were let or pre-let to United Drug and Home Store + More.

At the end of 2021, Mountpark received planning permission for the final phase of Mountpark Baldonnell, totalling 169,263 sq ft. The two new units, Unit F (72,625 sq ft) and Unit G (96,638 sq ft) can both be delivered by the end of 2022. Mountpark Baldonnell represents an inward investment of more than €300 million in the South Dublin region.

The Mountpark Baldonnell development is located at Clonlara Road, which is accessed from Barneys Lane on the N7 Naas Road – Ireland’s premier logistics corridor – between Casement Aerodrome and the N7/Baldonnell Business Park, conveniently located for access to the M50, Outer Ring Road, N81 and N4.

CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield are joint agents for Mountpark Baldonnell.
