Mountpark Baldonnell the new logistics home for Home Store + More.

Mountpark Logistics is delighted to announce that it has concluded an agreement, with nationwide homeware specialist Home Store + More, to lease Unit B of the Mountpark Baldonnell Development. The 25 – year lease, will see Home Store + More locate their main warehouse facility for their nationwide operation in Mountpark’s Baldonnell Logistics Park.

Home Store + More is one of Ireland’s largest homeware providers. Having opened their first store in Tallaght in 2004, the Irish owned business has grown to a chain of 22 stores in 16 counties. The company has recently opened two stores in the United Kingdom, in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Home Store + More employs 600 people throughout the group.

The new Home Store + More site is located at Barneys Lane on the N7 Naas Road – Ireland’s premier logistics corridor, between Casement Aerodrome and Baldonnell Business Park, conveniently located for access to the M50, Outer Ring Road, N81 and N4. The location is just 6 km from the M50.

Unit B, Mountpark Baldonnell, will have a gross external floor area of 203,500 sq. ft., commenced construction at the start of November and is already working ahead of schedule. It is expected that it will be completed before mid-August 2019.

An announcement is expected shortly regarding a tenant for Unit A, which was completed recently by Mountpark, Unit A is a 118,887 sq ft purpose-built logistics and warehousing building. It was completed on schedule, in under nine months, by contractors MAC. The Mountpark development was built on a speculative basis by Mountpark, so confident were they that the location and quality of development would be a magnet for potential tenants. To date, over 740 people have been employed in building the state-of-the-art development. The development has been subject to €2.3m in development charges to South Dublin County Council.
