Mountpark Logistics, a leading developer of industrial and logistics property, has announced the passing of Ranald Hahn, 63, following a short illness. As Managing Director, Western Europe, Ranald was responsible for Mountpark’s operations in France, Iberia and Italy.

Born in Oxford, Ranald Hahn graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge and embarked on a career in property, specialising in the logistics sector. In 1998, Prologis appointed Ranald to establish its operations in France and he subsequently became Vice President for Southern Europe at Prologis.

In 2011, he founded Palmira Capital Partners, before joining Mountpark in 2016.

“It has been my immense pleasure to call Ranald Hahn my colleague and friend for nearly 20 years,” said John Cutts, Founder of Mountpark. “Ranald’s integrity and loyalty drove his business rationale and became the foundation upon which his exceptional reputation was based. Ranald will be sorely missed by colleagues and friends alike. We will endeavor to carry his torch in all that we do.”

In France, Mountpark is currently developing major sites in Orleans and Chartres.
