15th June 2020

Mountpark Logistics, a leading developer of industrial and logistics property, announced today that it has pre-let a 103,000 square metre logistics centre at Mountpark Orléans, its development in Centre-Val de Loire, France.

Providing a total of 177,000 square metres of distribution space on a 40 hectare site, Mountpark Orléans is next to Parc Synergie Val de Loire at Meung-sur-Loire. Construction work on the pre-let building is already underway and on schedule to complete in May 2021.

Strategically located at exit 15 of the A10 autoroute, Mountpark Orléans has immediate access to the national transport network.

“Large logistics buildings are an essential part of an agile, resilient national supply chain,” said Olivier Parizot, Country Manager France at Mountpark. “We aim to offer our customers the best logistics property opportunities on the market and at Mountpark Orléans we can provide large scale, high quality facilities in a prime location. The development is attracting a great deal of interest and I am delighted that we have already agreed a 103,000 square metre pre-let.”

Mountpark Orléans will comprise two distribution centres. The second unit, which will provide up to 74,000 square metres can be delivered for occupation by the second half of 2021. Both buildings have been designed to achieve BREEAM ‘very good’ and IBPC BiodiverCity certifications.

Nigel Rowe, Managing Director, Western Europe at Mountpark said, “I am delighted with our progress this year. The pre-let at Mountpark Orléans supports our wider development, which includes new site opportunities in France and comes hot on the heels of our 85,000 square metre inventory development on site in Madrid.”
