25th February 2022

Mountpark Logistics, a leading developer of logistics and industrial property, announced today that it has completed the 88,933 sq ft unit pre-let to Home Store + More at Mountpark Baldonnell II in South Dublin.  This is the company’s second unit at Mountpark’s Baldonnell development, where it now occupies a total of 292,151 sq ft.

Ireland’s leading homeware retailer, Home Store + More started its distribution operations at Baldonnell in September 2019, supplying branches nationwide.  Located on Dublin’s prime logistics corridor, Mountpark Baldonnell has easy access to the M50, Outer Ring Road, N81 and N4.

“We are delighted to move into our second facility at Baldonnell,” said Tristan Geoghegan, Chief Operating Officer at  of Home Store + More. “Since opening our first unit on the park we have seen our business expand. Supply chain management has been a critical function of our business as we have coped with the pandemic and the impact of Brexit and having state-of-the-art logistics facilities has enabled us to manage these challenges effectively. I would like to thank our existing team at Baldonnell and I look forward to welcoming many more new colleagues to our new unit.”

“Home Store + More is a true Irish success story,” said Brett Huxley, Associate Director, Mountpark UK & Ireland.  “The Home Store + More team were among the first people we spoke to when we entered the Irish market and they have been a pleasure to work with.  We have collaborated with the team on the design of both units, ensuring that the buildings were created to meet the company’s business needs.   We look forward to many more years of partnership with Home Store + More and seeing its business continue to grow.

“When we first applied for planning permission at Baldonnell, we aimed to attract new employment and investment to the area.   We are delighted that this development will help generate further economic opportunity for South Dublin.”

The new Home Store + More facility is the third unit at Mountpark Baldonnell to be occupied, all three of which were let before completion. On site, Units D and E are approaching practical completion.  These two buildings will provide a further 787,681 sq ft of prime logistics space, bringing the total space developed at Mountpark Baldonnnell to 1,373,966 sq ft.
